We are aware that there has been some confusion related to the structure and services offered by Marcos Heritage Spares Ltd.

Marcos Heritage Spares was acquired in 2022 by my company, Automotive Vision Ltd and its newly formed entity, Marcos Motor Company Ltd. Marcos Motor Company was established to protect the Marcos brand, its assets, IP and its future.

Over the course of the last four years we have been consolidating the various companies that sit under Marcos Motor Company. This process has recently progressed significantly with the relocation and consolidation of all business units and services into one location in Sandydown, Stockbridge.

We fully appreciate that there has been some disruption during this period and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or uncertainty which may have affected you. We value you enormously as a pillar of the Marcos community. However, we believe that having all elements of the Marcos business under one roof is the best way of delivering the service you and future customers expect.

The facility in Sandydown is located on the Heath House Estate, a 1,400 acre private estate on the South Downs. Marcos Motor Company have a large facility there with multiple buildings to allow us to carry out all activities related to the wider Marcos business we’re developing.

The facilities include:

·       A large building that protects and contains the original moulds, jigs and tooling for vehicles going right back the Xylon from 1959.

·       A dedicated building that holds the build files and technical drawings for the original cars and even some that were never made.

·       A dedicated building for the storage and handling of heritage parts.

·       A large dedicated restoration building where we have been restoring Marcos cars for the last four years.

·       A mechanical repair centre for servicing and maintenance.

·       A dedicated secure design centre for the development of the new range of Marcos vehicles. The Marcos Mosquito track car was designed, developed and modelled in this facility and the prototype built there. We are now working on the development of the new road car project at this facility.

Update on Heritage Parts

Whilst we have had to move an enormous inventory of parts and tooling, we are now able to sort and record all parts and make locating, picking and re-ordering parts simple.

We aim to have all parts sorted and stored correctly by around the middle of October, and would be very grateful for your patience meantime.

Looking slightly further forward, we are also engaging the services of a systems specialist to ensure that the ordering, replenishment and picking of parts remains resilient. The integration of this system will commence towards the end of the year and we aim to have it fully up and running in the first quarter of 2027.
