Completely restored to its original specification by Marcos Heritage Spares, Marque experts.

The wooden chassis is in very good condition and has had minimal repairs carried out by ourselves to bring it back to totally original condition.

We stripped the car to the basic body chassis unit, carried out the minor chassis repairs, stripped the car of all the existing paintwork, back to the bare fibreglass. Carried out all fibreglass repairs necessary and repainted the car in the original Light Silver Blue. Unusually the car retains its original bonnet, indicating that the car has not been accident damaged.

The upholstery has been totally renewed, including seats, carpets, headlining etc... having special materials made to the original colour specification.

The car has been fitted with a sympathetic dashboard upgrade using elm veneer to compliment the interior. All of the original switch gear and instrumentation have been retained.

The car had had a full suspension, brakes, and steering overhaul, including all new shock absorbers, brake calipers, suspension bushes, hydraulics etc... including a new exhaust system. The car has been fitted with new chrome wire wheels as per the original specification, along with new tyres.

The engine, gearbox and final drive have been recommissioned. The engine features the very rare Marcos alloy rocker cover.

This is a beautiful car which we have restored to a very high standard, keeping its original specification.

Of the 96 Marcos 1500 models that were built, this is number 18, making it a very early car.
The car has only had 2 owners, and had been dry stored off the road for over 30 years. The car still retains all of its original period features including the correct lighting, steering wheel, rocker cover, wire wheels, and all body fittings.

This is a stunning example of an original Marcos 1500, and arguably the best car on the market.
The car comes complete with a comprehensive build file, dating from 1966 with the original owner, through to the recently completed restoration, including many photographs.
